Beef and Cheddar Casserole

Ingredients:

  • Cooked egg noodles 400 g
  • Ground beef 400 g
  • 1 bell pepper
  • Scallions 50 g
  • Tomato paste 1 tablespoon
  • Dry Italian herbs 1 teaspoon
  • Canned tomatoes 200 g
  • Sour cream 100 g
  • Parmesan 50 g
  • Cheddar 150 g
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Prepare 400 g of egg noodles in advance.
  2. Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil. Then, add 400 g of ground beef. Cook until brown.
  3. Next, add diced bell pepper and 50 g of sliced scallions. Give that a good mix.
  4. Then, add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and 1 teaspoon of dry Italian herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Next, add 200 g of canned diced tomatoes. Toss it well.
  6. Take an oven-proof deep pan and grease it with olive oil. Place cooked noodles into the pan. Add 100 g of sour cream and 50 g of grated parmesan. Season with salt and mix. Place the beef mixture on top. Put 150 g of grated cheddar on the beef.
  7. Bake your casserole for 20 minutes at 200 degrees C.
