Beef Empanadas


  • Minced beef 200 g
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Puff pastry 4 discs
  • Green olives 100 g
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano 1 teaspoon
  • 1 egg
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. First, chop onion and garlic. Cook in the pan with hot olive oil until tender.
  2. Add a teaspoon of paprika, cumin and cinnamon.
  3. Add minced beef into the pan. Season with salt and pepper and cook until brown.
  4. Add a teaspoon of chili flakes and a teaspoon of dried oregano.
  5. Chop green olives and boiled eggs. Add to the beef. Cook for more 3 minutes and set aside to cool.
  6. Roll off the puff pastry, cut into discs.
  7. Spoon the beef mixture into one half of the disс. Leave 1 centimeter of border round the edge. Cover 1 half of the disс with whisked egg and fold it over. Seal the dough with your fingers.
  8. Cook in the medium oven until golden brown. Cook this recipe with a photo!
  9. Serve with salsa.
