Chicken with garlic and Chestnut Stuffing


  • 1 deboned chicken
  • 1 big onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Pine nuts 100 g
  • Chestnuts 100 g
  • Fresh parsley 30 g
  • Cooked rice 200 g
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. For the stuffing, fry finely chopped onion, garlic and celery in hot olive oil. Next, add pine nuts which have light creamy taste and chopped earthy cooked chestnuts. Both add wonderful chewy texture and richness to stuffings. Season with salt and pepper. Then, add chopped parsley.
  2. Then, add 200 g of cooked rice. Next, take whole deboned chicken. Pile the stuffing mixture along the center. Next, simply roll the chicken up tightly and tie with a string.
  3. Then, roast your chicken in the hot oven for just over an hour at 200 degrees.
