Churros with Hot Chocolate


  • Cream 300 ml
  • Chocolate 150 g
  • Water 200 ml
  • Butter 50 g
  • Vanilla seeds 1 g
  • Cinnamon stick 1 g
  • 1 chilli
  • Orange zest 5 g
  • Vegetable oil
  • Caster sugar 50 g
  • Flour 100 g
  • Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. Firstly, take 300 ml of double cream. Add vanilla seeds and a cinnamon stick.
  2. Add sliced chilli and orange zest. Heat and infuse, then, strain.
  3. Add 150 g of chocolate and melt. Put off the heat.
  4. Next, to churros. Pour 200 ml of water, add 50 g of butter and melt.
  5. Add flour to the mixer with a pinch of salt. Pour in melted butter and mix to a smooth paste.
  6. Place this paste into a piping bag and chill for 10 minutes.
  7. Get the pan nice and hot, pour some vegetable oil.
  8. Pipe and snick the paste. Get the dough really nice and crispy.
  9. Cover the churros with caster sugar and ground cinnamon. Finish with grated chocolate. Pour some chocolate into the cup and serve with churros. Cook this recipe with a photo!
