Mackerel Ceviche


  • 4 Mackerel fillets
  • 2 grapefruits
  • Fennel leaves 20 g
  • Coriander 20 g
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. Mackerel is incredible, cheap, and so delicious. The fresher mackerel is the better all tastes. But the secret of this dish is in the dressing. In this recipe you will find out how to cook mackerel with delicious and quick marinade. Peel and slice two grapefruits into a big flat plate. Whisk it to separate all those little segments.
  2. Season with salt; add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Cut some fennel leaves and add to the grapefruit. Fennel is great in recipes with fish. Next, add chopped coriander. This is great marinade for fish.
  3. Take fileted and pin boned mackerel and slice bite-sized chunks. Place the fish onto the plate and lightly season with salt. Finish that with zest of a grapefruit and drizzle over some olive oil.
